Hey there! I'm your friendly neighborhood Dewy. Just doin' my thing.

I promised a more in-depth bio/thing here
(and I mean, I have a whole page for it), so here we go!

I am a NYC-based gal with a lot of interests.

You can probably tell from the blog posts.

My formal training is as an attorney.

I used to be in both corporate bankruptcy and finance, but am currently on a small hiatus for family planning and transition.

DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING HERE AS LEGAL ADVICE.

If you want legal advice, hire a lawyer. I'm just here to have fun.

Otherwise, you can normally find me hanging with my friends, playing bass in my band, and finding adventures in NYC.

I also enjoy gaming; typically strategy games like Dune: Spice Wars, Sid Meyer's Civilization V or VI, Age of Empires II, Rise of Nations, etc. I also enjoy a good walking sim or RPG.

About the blog. Hmmmm. Well, it's hard to put it in a box. I just write about things I find interesting (or annoying). Kind of a free for all.

The unifying factor is that I try to make my essays interesting and accessible.
