A Particular Sum

Once a certain number is called,

citing an act where parts are mauled,

Some in the know will act appalled,

but all deep down are a bit enthralled.

The law requires that I say "Nice."

A brief acknowledgement of a vice.

A pleasure by which some are enticed;

Harmless fun, if you take my advice.

Related acts are needed for life.

This one instead just playing a fife.

If you really want to treat your wife,

it helps smooth over marital strife.
