Manning the pulpit faithfully;

only God knows for how long.

Answering the usual questions

and singing the same old songs.

Straight and narrow insufficient;

additional requirements galore.

Nonsensical conduct restrictions

living in the expectations of yore.

Always an ear to listen

but none return the favor.

A lonely post for a person

leading others to their savior.
